#4 – This Tronic Life

After meeting Daniel Odelstad to get him to tell what he is planning for the first of the three Lunch Beat Spring Sessions, the impression that lasts is a lot of laughter.  He is one happy guy and for his mix This Tronic Life a lot of happiness sure is to be expected.

”I want people to feel euphoria when dancing to my music.”

So what does he actually mean when referring to ”my music”?

”Well, I guess you are welcome to meet me at the point when indie brakes down and transforms into electro house. My ambition is that the people attending shall be crying of happiness and be so sweaty they all have to get new shirts”.

To prepare for his set he suggests you to eat a lot of pasta and listens to his favorite track for now; Distance of the Modern Hearts by Kamp!

Lunch Beat #4 – This Tronic Life will take place on the 22th of February at Brunnsgatan 4 at the basement theater with the same name.

  • The time is 12-13 sharp.
  • Bring a friend, 60SEK in cash and a hunger for recklessness day clubbin’.

At Lunch Beat Sthlm #3 we have the pleasure to fill your ears with the finest of mixes, this time with a tape from Neil Seaward – a Paris/Stockholm/Scotland/UK kind of guy who has a passion for urban DJ:ing & keeps on spreading musical techhouse euphoria in Sthlm city.

> Your lunch vill be simple, tasty & as always vegetarian.

>The entrence fee is somewhat around 60 SEK at your choice.

> Since it is getting colder out there, it can be a great idea to bring an extra tee to put on before heading back to your white collar reality. Dance floor clothes can be true cold-causers when getting all cold again…

#2 – The C90’s mixdown

And so we are ready for dance off!

The 16th of September we are happy to invite you to this autumn’s first Lunch Beat.

The music will be mixed by, and used with exclusive permission from, the UK based Dj-duo The C90’s, the food will be simple and tasty & the entrence fee is somewhat 60 SEK.

Autumn 10 : Lunch Gets Louder

Just a few minutes past lunch time the 15th of June, summer came.
And so the music stopped.
We went to countrysides & beach houses. || We ran to the woods & sang in the rain. || We got messed up & fell asleep to the sound of seagulls’ awakening.

– And now?

We. Are. Back. At. Work.

Today Lunch Beat Sthlm opened up for a one hour magic session in an inner city garage. We find it kind of unnecessary to comment any further, but want to send all possible love to the some what 25 people who came and made the magic happen!

Setting the scene

So here we are. On this everything-else-than-extravagaza-hot-spot Lunch Beat #1 will take place in just a couple of days. You can expect lousy sound, a hard & dirty floor and the most lovable company.

As this is a very lo-fi arangement we must ask you to be honest in your RSVP-staus on Facebook since we are buying lunch for you if listed as attending. So if you have planned to show up (yay!) but still is not listed – please sign up as attending. And on the other hand – if you all of a sudden got other plans, please unmark your precense!

DJ #1: Anthony Action

”In my set you can expect electro beats that won’t tolerate one standing still for a single second”.
Lunch Beat are happy to introduce you to our first DJ who has been mixing a 60 minute long awesome tape of lunch beats. Anthony Action says he has been aiming for the creation of a dynamic set with both softer and heavier tunes, but with a constant beat that keeps you going;
”It will be the perfect 1 hour disco!”
